Wetting agent with image stabilizer.
Based on the Sistan formula but with optimized tuning and an improved, more environmentally friendly wetting agent since Generation II.
The image silver reacts with the active ingredient, and images treated in this way can be exposed to UV light for significantly longer without fading than untreated images.
Slows down the fading of silver images when they are kept (improperly) in non-archival frames and under glass without UV protection.
Unlike selenium toning, images treated with ADOSTAB II do not change their hue.
Information on the disposal of photo chemicals can be found in the safety data sheet (MSDS), which you can download here or find on the respective manufacturer's websites.
Application
Easy to use. ADOSTAB II is applied as a final bath, as the last step after washing.
Treated images should not be washed again after treatment, as the agent would then be washed out of the paper again and lose effectiveness.
We recommend wiping excess liquid from the paper with a soft sponge cloth or squeegee to prevent stains after drying.
When used with films, wipe off as usual before drying.
Preparation of the working solution: 1+19 (Example of use: 50 ml to 950 ml water)
Capacity
Yield: according to manufacturer (per 500ml bottle): approx. 20 sqm paper / 350 films
