The Autocarrier transports film at an impressive speed of up to three frames per second, allowing a complete 35mm film to be scanned in 12 seconds.
Your camera is automatically triggered for each frame. During image capture, a full-frame BOBACH pressure mask – the same technology used in professional Fuji Frontier scanners – presses each image down and holds it securely in place. This ensures absolute flatness for optimal sharpness in every shot.
The extra-wide film image window allows for the capture of the entire image field, including the border (see example shot). The specially developed image sensor intelligently and precisely recognizes and positions each 35mm individual frame, ensuring consistently perfect alignment with every scan.

The Operating Modes
- Manual Mode: Manually advance the film with the handwheel and trigger the camera.
- Automatic Mode: Simply load the film, and the Autocarrier automatically transports the film, positions the images, and releases the camera. Works best with well-exposed negatives.

Semi-Automatic Mode: After manually positioning the first two frames, the Autocarrier stores the frame distance. After each press of the camera trigger, the carrier transports the film by the measured distance. This mode is ideal for slide films or underexposed films where the automatic mode does not work correctly.
