The autocarrier transports films at an impressive speed of up to three frames per second, allowing a complete 35mm film to be scanned in 12 seconds.
Your camera will automatically trigger for each image. During image capture, a full-frame BOBACH pressure mask—the same technology used in professional Fuji Frontier scanners—presses each image down, holding it securely in place. This ensures absolute flatness for optimal sharpness in every shot.
The special image sensor intelligently and precisely detects and positions each 35mm image, ensuring consistent, perfect alignment with every scan.
Twenty full-spectrum LEDs (5000 K, CRI> 95) ensure perfect color accuracy and uniform illumination of the entire image.
The brightness of the LEDs is adjusted to allow shooting at medium aperture and low ISO.
Combined with Filmomat's SmartConvert software and control panel, this system replicates the functions of a professional lab scanner.

The operating modes
Manual mode: Advance the film manually using the handwheel and release the shutter.
Automatic mode: Simply load the film, and the autocarrier automatically transports the film, positions the images, and releases the camera. Works best with well-exposed negatives.
Semi-automatic mode: After manually positioning the first two frames, the autocarrier stores the frame distance. Each time the shutter button is pressed, the carrier advances the film the measured distance. This mode is ideal for slides or underexposed film where the automatic mode doesn't work properly.
