The premium developer among classic formulations for the finest differentiation across the entire tonal range with Dmax values of 2.25 logD or more on high-quality papers such as Ilford Multigrade baryta papers.
Extremely low base fog: 0.00 – 0.02 logD
Normal dilution 1+14 development time 2:30 – 3:00 minutes
Dilution 1+9 development time 1:30 – 2:00 minutes
Concentrate shelf life 2-3 years, after opening 1-2 years depending on fill level
Working solution shelf life: 3-4 months
Capacity per liter of concentrate: approx. 350 sheets
By adding the additive Finisher Blue, the achievable image tone with neutral and cold tone papers can be influenced to a cooler blue-black.
Formula change: As of 2023, this developer is also hydroquinone-free, its effectiveness has not changed.
